Aside from this, states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh have concluded that they will presently actualize changes in the guidelines like learning permit and vehicle enrollment. There is no need to wait any longer to get a learning license in these states.

Now the applicant can print the license online from the comfort of his own home.

Getting a driver's license became easier

In Bihar, this facility has been started in all the district transport offices of the state including Patna.  Apart from this, some states have also made major changes in the system of charging fees for learning licenses. Major changes have also been made in the learning license in Madhya Pradesh. If your license is from another city but you have an address to live in the current city, you can get a permanent license. You will have to pay Rs 740 as soon as the slot for learning license is booked in Bihar. As soon as you book the slot, you will get the date for the learning license exam as per your convenience.

You will be able to print the license online

According to the Bihar Transport Department, only online applications are being accepted in the state. The offline system has been abolished. Online examination is being conducted in the district transport offices. The 10 minute exam asks 10 questions. To pass this exam, you have to give correct answers to at least 6 questions. Applicants will no longer have to wait in the RTO for a certificate of learning license but this certificate will come in your mail which you can print online.

A new RTO will open

Four more RTOs are being considered in Delhi due to the growing congestion in driving licenses. "There are 13 RTOs in operation in Delhi so far, including driving licenses, international driving licenses, vehicle registration and operating licenses," said Kailash Gehlot, Delhi's transport minister. Along with this, states like Madhya Pradesh have also decided to open driving centers in every district.

Enough relief at present on old documents

The central government has extended the validity of important documents like driving license, vehicle registration and fitness certificate till March 31, 2021. The decision will be a relief to those whose documents expired on February 1, 2020. But due to the corona, the necessary action for renewal could not be taken. This is the fourth time that the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has extended this recognition in view of Corona. Earlier in August, the government also extended the recognition to 31 December 2020. "This choice will assist residents with profiting transport-related administrations while keeping a safe actual distance," the service said on Sunday.
